The new James Turrell Skyspace, titled Leading, is the only public Skyspace in Manhattan, and the first attached to a K-12 school anywhere in the world. Located atop the School’s newly renovated townhouses, Leading joins a dynamic, global community of more than 85 Skyspaces and will serve as a spiritual and educational space for students, the community and the city. Like the historic 15th Street Meetinghouse, Leading will be a physical manifestation of the School’s Quaker mission, which was made possible, in part, through donor support.
